The Battle of Thermopylae

In a pass between a mountain and a sea
A fight for all and thee
Two empires in ultimate strife
A fight to decide life

Geysers and springs
The kiss of a ring

The help of the boat
The army over the moat

Those who were weak hid
Those who were strong did
Those who were there rid

In a pass between a mountain and a sea
A death to who and he
Fore the king of Sparta and the grape
A single slice to the nape

The political juggernaut
The marbles rot

The help for the city
The power of those so witty

The government of a killer’s son
The yoke of the rising sun
Yet the chase to pursuit their run

In a pass between a mountain and a sea
A stab from them and reed
For he was a person of the hell
Though in his past all he knew was the yell

The burning of the wall
A killing for half of all

The tunnel through a giant mountain
A betrayal forth ark anton

They had the knowledge from he who declared
His allegiance of the Persians had aired
Yet little did he know, those who he left would have him marred

In a pass between a mountain and a sea
A famous battle for all to see
The dead king lay on the ground
His body for all around

The burning of the citadel
An idea none could sell

The traitor returned for more
Sparta was not the badge he wore

The legendary phalanx died at extraordinary rates
The killer’s men died those who he hates
They knew that hades had arrive to the hot gates

In a pass between a mountain and a sea
A show for her and she
Only once for they can see
The battle of Thermopylae
