The last thing anyone wants to do is spend 6 hours at school doing work and then go to a 2 hour sport practice. 2 hour practices for school are too long!! Even though sports are very good for your health it’s too tiring for everyone and from a person like me that has 3 practices a day “I am extremely tired by the next day. According to “School Sports Should Be Discontinued? “After-school practice gets you home so late that you’re totally wiped out and just want to go to bed, but you can’t because of class assignments.” For multi sport athletes running a full 2 hours and then doing homework and other activities is so stressful and overwhelming. I know people might be asking questions like “Why don’t you quit a sport” “Why don’t you leave early”. The definition of a team is to work together and do your job to contribute to your game. If I’m not committed to the team I am not doing my job by leaving practice early. You also shouldn’t have to quit a sport just because you’re tired because parents and adults want you to try everything. Working out a lot of times a day is good but there is such a thing as overdoing it. According to “Playing too much” Playing too often with no time to recover is a recipe for an injury, especially for a developing body.” Also, when we have 2 hour practices in 87 degree weather without many water breaks it is way more tiring and you have a Much higher risk of getting injured. Students need to have rest, it is very important and will save them from being depressed, sad, tired and sleeping during the day so help them out!!!

When Will We Get A Break?
For multi-sport athletes it’s so tiring going from a 2 hour practice to other sports. It can be very draining and sometimes can affect our mood so help these athletes out so that they can be less stressed, get more rest time, and be happy with the amount of sports they do.
